Human Impact of Cyber Security: Threats to organisation data and ways to mitigate those threats

Information security relies on technology, process and people. The technology and process aspects have been tackled by the industry, however, the people aspect – actually changing employee behaviour to reduce cyber risk – has been neglected.

This seminar will look at how businesses tackle the human aspect of cyber security by looking at how advanced technology, behavioural science and human psychology principles can come together to make an organisation’s people the first line of defence against cyber threats. It will also look at why people take risks online, how cyber criminals exploit this online behaviour and what information hackers are targeting.
