Agustín is Telecom Engineer by Ramon Llull University (Barcelona) and Professor of leadership at Lleida University. Author of Analyze, Act, Advance, a book about how to build a virtuous cycle of hope, innovation, renewal, and continuous improvement. Principal consultant of Argelich Networks, an independent digital technology (Information and communications technologies) and management consultancy boutique. He founded it after the Barcelona’92 Olympic Games, when he was one of the youngest project leaders as Technological Director of the IX Paralympic Games. For 30 years he has been leading significant digital technology projects for business and for public organizations. Expert in Unified Communications and Collaboration. Proud member of the Society of Communications Technologies Consultants International (www.sctcconsultants.org), he served as board member for eight years, seven as Chairman International Affairs Committee and two as Vice President. He is a recognized international speaker in ICT technology, innovation, change management and leadership. Before Olympics, Agustin worked as Telecom Manager in Asco Nuclear Power Plant and served as Lieutenant in Spanish Air Force. A multinational, any undisputed global leader, requires a worldwide network of corporate telecommunications that provides efficient and economical voice, data and video communications in and between its various sites and subsidiaries.
The technological change that has occurred with the consolidation of IP communication solutions, the need for renewal of the old systems (PBX) due to obsolescence, the growth that most of the organizations has experienced together with the arrive to the company of new employees, members of the digital generation, have prompted multinationals to establish an appropriate and coherent global communications strategy.
The companies’ headquarters need establish the same telecom strategy and networks to all their subsidiaries. To reduce costs and build synergies between subsidiaries, collaboration tools are mandatory. The knowledge is spread around the organization. A unique Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC2) platform is the solution to improve internal communication and collaboration and provides the channels used by the digital born staff.
