Richard has worked for telent for 16 years having joined the company back 2000 as a 1st line support engineer.

Richard subsequently progressed through the production lab, field engineering and focal engineering within the Service Provider team providing Focal support for one of the UK’s largest service providers as well as supporting various other global Service Provider customers.

Now with 18 years of experience in the telecoms/technology arena Richard is now Head of Focal Engineering and manages a team of 12 high-end IP engineers qualified up to JNCIE/CCIE level.

Richard and his team are responsible for providing focussed technical support including Design, Type Approval and Proof of Concept along with developing and demonstrating new technologies in telent’s industry leading lab facilities in Camberley.
