Ethos Technology

Stand: EE24

Ethos Technology was created with the aim of bridging the technology gap between the USA and the UK/Europe. We are a value-added distributor who specialises in the delivery of next generation technologies. We recognise that the way new products and solutions are traditionally launched, particularly those from Silicon Valley pioneers puts European businesses at a huge disadvantage. Europe is often 18 months to 2 years behind the US which can have a significant impact on our business operations in comparison to our international competitors; our agility, cost base and ability to scale can all be affected. We feel that this is unacceptable and unsustainable in today’s global economy and it’s something we are committed to helping change.

Through our reseller partners, Ethos’ help bring to market disruptive, next generation technologies. Our vision is to simplify the data centre and solve real business problems whilst drastically cutting costs.

  • Digital Transformation – “Yes that is impressive, but couldn’t you just use a pencil…?” Thu 4th Oct 15:00 - 15:30

Digital Transformation – “Yes that is impressive, but couldn’t you just use a pencil…?”

The rewards offered by digital transformation are huge, but so are the potential pitfalls. During this session Adam will outline some techniques for building an adaptable infrastructure framework; drawing on his own experience, and insights gleaned from the journeys of companies such as Google and Amazon. He will discuss the importance of asking “why” before “how”, and how to solve problems today without creating new ones in the future.

If you’re struggling to navigate a sea of cloud-first, software-defined everything, containers, XaaS etc. then Adam’s ability to simplify the complex make this one a must.
