This is an opportunity for you to join one of Navisite's three Roundtables and, as one of 15 senior IT decision makers or business owners in each Roundtable, you will be surrounded by like-minded peers in focused discussions:

The first exclusive VIP session on Wednesday, 3 October 2018 is hosted by Dave Williams, Group CTO of Ed Broking LLP (one of Navisite's customers).

The second exclusive VIP session on Wednesday, 3 October 2018 looks at Navisite's very own primary research conducted by Dr Alexander Grous, London School of Economics.

The third exclusive VIP session on Thursday, 4 October is hosted by George Tunnicliffe, Head of Operations at the National Theatre (one of Navisite's customers).

Dave Williams

Experienced CIO/CTO/CDO/CPO/Programme Director with end to end programme and business transformation experience in both B2C and B2B environments. Entrepreneurial by nature and used to working at Board level, with excellent business, transformation and IT skills, company start-up (including PE experience), accelerated company growth (up to 250% pa) and global corporate experience. An excellent track record in working with the business to create comparative advantage through innovative technology, building IT functions on greenfield sites or transforming and managing IT functions (up to 140 internal staff) supported by offshore resources, IT Strategy, solutions architecture, product owner, programme management, systems migration, software development (in house and 3rd party), digital, DevOps, SaaS, cloud, account & supplier management, contract and P&L experience up to £50M.

Content of session and takeaways:

Dave will be discussing how Ed Broking LLP decided to migrate to Azure, why they proceeded with a managed service provider, what were the challenges and pain points they experiences and how they got over them.

George Tunnicliffe likes a challenge. With a people centred and personal approach, he has worked in IT across different sectors such as defence, charities, healthcare and civil engineering. Entering the IT industry from a design and catering background which has evolved into some different people centred approaches to tackling objectives.

An advocate for diverse teams and passionate about building the individual, he has focused on teamwork and empowering those individuals to learn and overcome the challenges a modern IT team faces. As well as making sure good humour and friendly personalities are always present to make IT a positive place, he works to ensure IT is a welcoming team for the organisation to work with and to help build a partnership with the business.

Working with his teams George has delivered cloud migrations, rapid expansions and organising IT delivery. Outside the office George keeps it interesting with a keen interest in performance arts as well as by wakeboarding, indoor skydiving, flowboarding, kayaking and anything else that doesn't involve a computer!

Content of session and takeaways:

There will be a case study presentation about the National Theatre moving to the cloud and this started with Office 365.  The original plan is almost 99% complete.

Navisite's First and Third Sessions:

Coffee and refreshments will commence from 07:45 when the doors open just for you and breakfast will be provided from 08.00. Attendees to these roundtables will also benefit from reserved VIP seating for the opening keynote at 10:00.

Navisite's Second Session:

The session starts with reserved seating in the Keynote Theatre to hear Dr Beth Singler talk about AI!  As a Navisite VIP, you will then be escorted to the Roundtable meeting room where you can grab a tea or coffee and start networking with your fellow peers.  The session will then start at 14:30 with afternoon refreshments*.
